Johnathan "Dallas" Poston '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5 '10" with an average of 170lbs and have been wrestling snce the third grade and have been varsity since 7th and 8th grade. I have been the co-captain of my wrestling team since my junior year and i have won our team's coach's award my sophomore and junior year for being easy to coach and able to execute what the coaches wanted me to do.  Futhermore, I am not very concerned with the type of school i am accepted into concerning school size or religion, but i am hoping for a school with high academic prowess: especially in mathematic fields.  Additionally, financial aid would be a blessing for my college career.  I personally am uaware of whether or not my family qualifies for financial aid because my family's income has fluctuated over the years.  As of right now, however, we would not be able to pay my way through college on our expenses alone.  On another note, i have not decided what exactly i wish to major in.  I have always thrived in math and science however, so that is the general direction i am looking to.  For wrestling, i am looking to be able to wrestle as much i can competitively in college because that feeling of having your hand raised after a match is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world.  I am not bothered with having to possibly red-shirt my freshman year either.  Thank you, Dallas Poston
