Wrestling Division 1 has been a huge goal of mine ever since my freshman year of high school when I really started getting serious about the sport and realized what it took to be one of the best in the state. But as I have grown older I have opened my eyes to the national scene and I believe I am at that level now.
As for college of course I want to be a 4 time NCAA champion, but that is a very hard thing to achieve that has only been done a handful of times. My goal right now for the NCAA is to be a Division 1 National Champion and multiple time All-American.
If I had to describe my wrestling to someone who has never seen me on the mat; I would say that I'm not the most technical, slick, fast, or strong wrestler, but I would say that I just find ways to win. Often in my matches I find myself in close situations that may not be pretty, but I find a way to win. I feel that is what makes me such a good candidate for many college programs because I am no where near how good I really can be and I am definitely willing to put in the work to be a champion. One thing I pride myself on is my ability to set goals and achieve them. When I set a goal I put 100 percent into that goal no matter what sacrifices I will have to make in order to achieve that goal. I know how hard the college grind is, and I all I have to say is that I'm ready to put in the work to become a National Champion for the program that offers me a spot on their team.
