Megan Richardson '12 Recruiting Profile

I would have never dreamed that I soon would be looking for an opportunity to play the sports I love in college. This is an opportunity that could change my whole college experience, however, education is my number one concern when it comes to choosing a school.  In matters of size or geography I have learned to be open to any option but I am primarily searching for schools on the west coast as staying close to home would be nice. I plan on becoming an English major. I learn better at my own pace, so being in a large classroom setting would suit me fine in college. I have qualified for CIF in swim since my freshman year and placed 9th and 7th overall in my events. I have been the league and team MVP for swimming and water polo two years running. I have been elected Outstanding athelete by the HUSD in water polo and swim two years running.I was also chosen as an honorable mention to the All Riverside County team for water polo in 2009. My stats are as follows: height - 5'9", weight - 155 lbs., speed - 50 free 25.02 and my 500 free 5:27.33. Characterisitcs that I pride myself on are that I am a team leader, I work hard during practice, I follow directions, and i always have a positive attitude.
