I am Amy Zaninovich. My water polo journey began in the sixth grade when, after several years, swim team was no longer a personal passion. This sport quickly became an all consuming priority in my life. Not only has water polo taught me commitment, but also dedication, perseverance, strength of character, discipline, and leadership. In addition, education has also been a high priority in my life. Throughout my middle school and high school career, my GPA has continually ranged from a 3.8-4.0.
Continuing both my commitment to water polo and academics at the collegiate level is important to me. I desire the opportunity to be challenged and create a successful future which will provide both career success and financial independence. I contunually push myself , whether it's getting a better grade on a test, improving skills in a class, or pushing my capabilities in the pool. Having the opportunity to play water polo in college would be be the fulfillment of a goal I've been working toward since I began playing the sport six years ago. Achieving this goal would definitely make the hard work, long hours, sweat, and tears ALL worth it!
