Winning state as a freshman was an amazing experience, but I can't say it taught me the most about myself, and my dedication to the sport. Casper Wyoming isn't known for its stellar volleyball programs, which is why I decided to try out for Norco in 2013. My parents only agreed to drive me to Loveland Colorado, three hours each way, if I made the top team, and to their amazement I did. This was probably the most difficult year of my volleyball career. Three hours each way, three hours of practice, three days a week for nine months. My team ended up winning a bid at Northern Lights and competed in the Jr Olympics in Dallas that year. Now we have a Norco satellite team in Casper Wyoming, which gives me and my teammates the opportunity to compete in club volleyball and our winter sport considering we are all three sport athletes. I compete in indoor and outdoor track as well as volleyball, and was a captain for indoor last year. I also enjoy snowboarding, wake surfing, mountain biking, and hiking. As for extracurricular activities I was a part of my schools guitar ensemble, and IB art program.
