I competed in gymnastics for 6 years. The highest level I competed at was level 9, and I earned a place on the Region Three Gymnastics Team to compete at regionals three times during my gymnastics career.
I started diving late so I was only able to compete in one six dive meet and two eleven dive meets (one of which was Conference and the other was State). I took first at the six dive meet with a score around 230, third at Conference with a score of about 323, and fifth at state with a score of about 347, which set a new school record.
I am extremely devoted to diving. I trained in morning and evening practices during the girl's season and I am currently going to evening practices during the boy's season. I am working on earning money to attend a diving camp this summer. I am devoted to having good grades and continuing my education. I am currently enrolled in a Wyoming History course at Casper College. I started high school this year, even though I am a year early. I have been asked to participate in the IB (International Baccalaureate) program starting next year.
I am a team player and love to encourage my teammates and celebrate their successes as well as give support when things don't necessarily go the way they want it to. I am very coachable and love to hear how I can improve my dives. I have fallen in love with diving and would like to attend a college where I can push myself in both diving and academics.
