My name is Maddy Ahrens and I have deep passion for the game of volleyball. It has always been a big dream of mine to play at a high level of volleyball after high school. I am striving to play at that next level and I believe my work ethic and dedication to the game can get me there. Volleyball has shown me how to be a leader and a team player on and off the court. I began playing volleyball when I was eight and soon discovered that setting was my passion. I go to Appleton North High School in Appleton Wisconsin. Currently my GPA is a 3.7 out of a 4-point scale and I will be graduating in 2017. I am a setter for my varsity team at Appleton North and this past season (2015) we placed in the top four at the Division 1 state tournament. I also play club volleyball at Wisconsin Volleyball Academy. I am on WVA 18- Black and will be competing in Super Open Divisions across the country. I'm very excited for the future but even more excited to consistently improve my game and find a college that fits me based on my academic success and athletic abilities.
