Wyatt Marshall '20 Recruiting Profile

I first became interested in lacrosse when my sister played for the high school team.

The first catch I had with my sister was with a girls stick in the backyard.

Within a short time frame I joined the Appleton lacrosse boys club and have loved the game ever since. 

I enjoy stringing sticks, dying heads, doing stick tricks, and watching college and MLL games but most of all I love to compete in the game.

Most of the boys I played with had already been playing for a couple of years so  I felt I needed to prove myself.  I continue to dedicate a large part of my free time to improving my skills.  While I know I can’t control the outcome, I am in control of the effort I put in.

I am in the Fox Cities Leadership Academy charter program at school and am learning how I can attract people so that I can impact them in a positive way.  I am taking courses to prepare me for a business major and have entertained the idea of some sort of lacrosse business.

I am currently on my church’s worship and teaching team.  I have volunteered for the Miracle league helping kids with disabilities play baseball.

I have worked hard for my grades. I have dyslexia and I have to put in more time than the average person but I aim to reach my highest potential in school and in the game of lacrosse.

I have a heart for lacrosse.  It’s a part of who I am.  I would consider it an honor to play college lacrosse.
