Personal Statement

One of the highlights of my volleyball career was becoming a member of the Sudden Impact VBC, which is one of the top clubs in the Puget Sound Region, especially at the older age groups. Being part of a club that trains athletes to compete at the college level, while also focusing on becoming a better person and teammate is challenging me to improve myself at each practice.

I feel I have learned a lot about myself playing for my High School team. As the only Freshman, and a setter running a 5-1, I have focused a lot more on my leadership skills and making those around me better. My hard work, dedication, and commitment has earned me the role of team captain and I was selected as the First Team All-League setter for 2017. I was also involved in the Middle School WEB Leader program and have been active in The First Tee of Greater Seattle for the past 7 years.

I’m looking for a college program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
