Maren Dent '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a team player. I enjoy connecting with teammates on and off the court. This last year I decided I needed to work on my mental game so I could be a better teammate. I am able to play in the present, and be encouraging to myself and my teammates. My competitiveness, energy, and positivity can make my team stronger.

My dad has always been an example to me of hard work. He worked hard in college. He showed integrity and honor in his military service. I am fortunate to have him teach me by example. I take pride in what I do. I have high expectations for myself as a person, an athlete, and a student. As an athlete, I like to set and work on goals with my coach. As a student, I am organized, and motivated to understand the material. It is my goal to receive a college education, and my dream to play volleyball at the college level.
