Ella Heckman '21 Recruiting Profile

    I love to compete. Whether it’s on the court or in the classroom, I play to win. I understand that an academic/athletic scholarship is a privilege,  and I want to earn one. My parents have raised me with the values of faith, family, and service. My pillars, both on the court and in the classroom, are attitude and effort. Regardless of the circumstances, conditions, or odds, the two things I always have control over are my attitude and effort. I try to lead by example, with the understanding that my actions speak louder than my words.  

    As a freshman, I was voted MVP of my JV team, during the same season that our varsity squad (10 seniors) took 6th in state. Although my high school career has just started, I understand that now is the time for me to get involved in the recruiting process. My club volleyball coach says that I “have an unknown ceiling”. I’m still growing, and the sky is the limit.  Please track my progress over the next 3 years.
