Trinity Carruthers '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals consist of being an outstanding student athlete at the collegiate level.  I strive to be a neonatal nurse due to being a preemie.  I had to be revived when I was born and the neonatal nurses impacted my life.  I would visit them as I got older and fell in love with the profession.  I have been a fighter since I was born because I have fought to be here.  I have a work ethic that is unmatched due to the 10+ surgeries that I have endured and as of today, looking at me, you can't even tell the reconstruction work done on my mouth.  I had to learn the meaning of character as a coaches child.  I was raised in a gym and my mother held me to the same standards as her athletes so I know what high expectations look like.  To be a student athlete is a privilege and something that I am looking forward to at the next level.
