Jayda Gibson '17 Recruiting Profile

I'm very passionate about volleyball and have been playing since I was in 7th grade.  One of my most memorable accomplishments was being selected to play with the 900 Volleyball 18s, at age 15.  As the youngest team member, I played a significant role in my team winning our Regional competition and also going to Nationals for the first time.  My personal collegiate goals are to be named All-Conference by the end of my sophomore year, be as mentally and physically strong as I can be, and maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA. I believe some of my most outstanding characteristics are my leadership skills, courage to make the right decisions, ability to receive and apply coaching, and my energy level on and off the court.  As a 2 sport athlete, I understand what it means to truly be a team player while competing at a high level, and I know I would be a valuable asset to your volleyball program and to your school.
