Jaryn Towery '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2020 right side hitter for ­­­­­Tejas Volleyball Club and Chester W. Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas. 

Although currently playing in my first year of high school volleyball, I also have 3 years of club experience under my belt and have played both outside hitter and right side.  I love the challenge of hitting on either side, but most of all I really like to shut down big hitters with my bigger block.   I am also very competitive and disciplined in the classroom, currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

I am a natural leader both on and off the court. I have a passion for helping and serving others. In college, I plan on getting my degree in Biochemistry and continue on to medical school to be an Anesthesiologist. I always dreamed to follow in my father's footsteps in playing at the collegiate level and aspire to create the same type of friendships with the athletes that I will compete alongside.
