Peyton Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

I've never been more passionate about anything in my life other than basketball. I've dedicated myself to improving and fell in love with the sport at age 7. I've always wanted to play club, but have never had the opportunity to. I've self taught myself how to have self control with my body and use the basketball to my advantage. I've dreamed of playing basketball at the collegiate level for as long as I can remember.

No matter what position I play on the court, I take full advantage and play my hardest, despite my height. If you were to ask me to chase down a ball on the other side of the gym, best believe I'll do everything in my power to save it. I'm determined to never give up and face every challenge brought in my path.

Basketball has had a big influence on my life, its always been my go to sport. It's such a beautiful sport and has positively affected me and my perspective entirely on team related sports, and the continuation throughout college.

My ultimate goal is to find the right college that'll offer me the best education while I can still play the sport I love. I am very coachable and a team player. It's essential to keep a positive attitude and cheer for every missed or gained point. COMMUNICATION is key on the court. I am very determined and have a burning passion to play. I have learned many important characteristic and aspects in playing sports, such as respect, perseverance, dedication and how hardwork essentially pays off.
