My academic goal is to attend a university where I can study Nursing. Volleyball has been my passion since fifth grade. I have attended various summer camps and played in summer leagues to stay sharp and develop new skills. I have played right side hitter and am currently the setter on my school's varsity team. We run a 5/1 offense. I would relish the opportunity to play the game that I love in college. I also place great importance in my academics because I know that the quality of my future will be influenced by the effort I give now. Since I know that my actions are a reflection of my family, school and team, I try my best to conduct myself with honor, honesty and respect on and off the court. I believe in hard work, being coachable and a dependable teammate because those are major components in being successful. I know that with my commitment, work ethic, and positive attitude, I can make an impact on any university's volleyball team.

In 2006, Mason was honored by the United States Olympic Committee as the 2006 Developmental Coach of the Year for USA Volleyball.
