Jenna Ostenson '23 Recruiting Profile

I love being a student-athlete.  I have always enjoyed school; I work hard and study rigorously to maintain my 4.0 GPA. I have gotten a lot of experience playing on the varsity level in our class B high school since my seventh grade year, and have had a lots of fun! I take every chance I get to become a better athlete. I am working hard to become a great high school level player, so I can help my team and improve individually to become a collegiate level athlete. I put forth my best at practices in all 3 girls' sports offered at my school and in the off-season at open gyms, weight lifting, and camps.  I have been to skills camps/clinics at colleges in South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado.  Family and faith play huge roles in my life, which are things I feel help me have a good, hardworking attitude.  I am an also a leader among my peers.  I was elected as a Jr. High Representative to the Edgemont High School Student Council, and I participate in many other activities, including band, choir,  Drama, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes),  youth group,  and teaching Sunday School & Bible School. These are the reasons I believe I would make a good candidate for a collegiate team.  Thanks for reading!
