Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since seventh grade. I got into playing volleyball through my friends and have been playing ever since. I am very enthusiastic and energetic on and off the court. My coaches often called on me to motivate the team when we were down. I have a strong serve and my longest streak this year was 15 in a row. This 2017-2018 season will be my first time playing club volleball which I am very excited about.
I am in the top 4% of my class of a division 5A school and my goal is to be in the top 2% by the time I graduate. Since academics are very important to me, I intend on attending a strong academic school. In college, I want to study political science and/or international relations as it is my goal to one day be a US ambassador. After spending a summer in Germany traveling Europe with my cousin; I have acquired a love for travel. A college that has programs for studying abroad would be very appealing to me as well.
