I have a passion for volleyball and I show it by playing with fire and intensity. I've always been one of the most vocal players on the court and I have a spirit and drive to compete at the highest level. I think being a good setter and leader means encouraging my teammates all the time, in every situation.
The thing I'm most proud of as a player is that I'm known by my coaches as being a great teammate, a very coachable player, and a hard worker. I arrive to practice early to warm up my hands and go through my footwork, and I stay late if I need to work on something I'm not feeling confident with.
As a freshman I was the starting setter for my high school varsity team and I ran a 5-1 offense. I was also the floor Captain. I was named as the Index Journal "Volleyball Player of the Year" for 2017. I was also named to the All-Region team and was the only freshman to be included in this honor.
In the classroom I've maintained an extremely high GPA (currently 4.3) and take honors courses in all subjects available. I hope to go in to the medical field and I know how important my school work is.
I'm really excited about my future and I hope you'll contact me if you think I might be a good fit for your program!
