Emma Morales Cestero '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a Senior in Academia Maria Reina, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I have played volleyball as part of my school team during 7th, 8th and now during 12th grade. I have been playing as part of the Borinquen Coqui Club since 2011; this year I play for Torrimar 18U. With hard work, I have achieved a few personal recognitions in camps as well as team titles at tournaments both in USA and the island. Also, I have achieved high rankings in cross country and track and field. My interest is to study science, most likely biology, with the goal of pursuing a career in the field of medicine. I have been described as a very coachable, passionate, and dedicated player. I strongly believe that giving up is never and option and that communication is necessary at all times. I play by my coach's saying: "Play every game like it’s a championship one and dig up even the most 'impossible' plays". To reach your goals you must always have a higher dream to follow. Mine is to play my passion in a collegiaet level.
