Sandra Galindez '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing as outside hitter for the last five years at school and club teams and I being able to contribute significantly. I am a 4 year varsity starter and playing club volleyball since I was 4 years old. I have very good defense skills, great agility covering the court, and a very effective and reliable service, making me able to play as a Defensive Specialist or Libero as well. I am persistent,  and look always to keep improving myself. Characteristics such as determination, competitiveness, and discipline have helped me with my good results, not only as an athlete but also academically. That is part of the reasons why I could keep my GPA over 3.5 and I have been selected to play with the best volleyball clubs in Puerto Rico. I am also team oriented and able to adapt to different situations, qualities that make me a good addition to a team.
