Julissa Morales Rosario '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Julissa Morales, I just turned 17 on December 29th, senior volleyball captain & finally graduating high school in May 2013. My current GPA is 3.5. I've been playing volleyball since I was 8; I also do track & field- long jump but volleyball is my passion in life. It has become a lifestyle for me. I honestly can't imagine myself in college without volleyball. I dream of becoming a professional athlete and my study interests are in Athletic Training in the Sports Medicine field. I want to be able to work with athletes in the field once I graduate college. I want to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training and be able to acquire experience through my college years without setting aside my athletic dream. This major is relatively new in Puerto Rico and there are only 2 possible universities that offer these programs. I've consulted professionals working with our national team who graduated from UNF, FIU and their advice is that the best colleges in this field are in the states. Therefore  I am excited and more than willing to play volleyball for the states in order to achieve my goals.
