Mary Stadelman '10 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Mary Stadelman. I am 5'11'' and I weigh 155 lbs. I have always been athletic and loved to play all kinds of sports, but the sport that quickly became the one I knew that I was made to play, was the sport of volleyball. I have played volleyball since 5th grade and I have continued to play through my senior year in high school. I would like to continue to play as I journey on to college. I feel that I would have a positive impact on any team that I play with. I have taken advantage of leadership positions throughout high school, such as being named the captain of my volleyball team. I have exhibited leadership but at the same time I have worked with my team to achieve our second place record of 6-2 in our section in my senior year. I have a lot of desire and determination to be the best and contribute in any way possible. I am looking for a place where I can make a difference. The type of school I am looking for is a school that is strong in academics. My intended major is currently undecided therefore I am looking for a school that will give me a variety of acedemic options. Ultmately my goal is to keep the sport that I love a part of my life while at the same time earning an education, so that I may contribute to my community and society upon graduation.
