I am currently a student at the Cambria Heights High School in Patton, PA. My short term goal is to help my teams earn winning seasons and continue to grow as a well rounded player in both my club and high school volleyball career. My long term goal is to play at the college level while earning my degree. I plan on majoring in a degree in the medical or therapy field, although I am undecided on a specific area. I have played volleyball since seventh grade. The moment that I stepped on the court, I fell in love with the sport. Volleyball is not just my sport, it is my passion, my stress relief, and my primary source of fun. Since I started my career in volleyball, I have become a well rounded and competitive player. I began as an outside hitter on my 7th and 8th grade teams. In the 9th grade, I played on my middle school team in the spring and was asked to move up to the junior varsity/varsity team in the fall, where I continued to play junior varsity and varsity as an outside hitter and defensive player. I then joined the Horseshoe Volleyball Club in Altoona, PA, where as a 14 year old, I started as an outside hitter in the 16 year old age division. When I returned to my sophomore year season in at Cambria Heights, I started varsity as a setter and right side hitter. I am proud to say I started every varsity game in the setting position during my sophomore year. I then went on to be a starting setter during my 2013 club season, where as a 15 year old I played in the 17 year old age bracket. Going into my junior year, I started as an outside hitter and remained in the rotation as a defensive player on the varsity team. I earned the team award for having the "most hustle" at my team's year end award's ceremony. I am proud of my blocking, net play, and defensive skills. Now that I have some confidence in multiple positions, I am focusing on refining my skills as an outside hitter. I am currently in my 3rd year with Horseshoe Volleyball club and am starting as an outside hitter for my club team. I am now 16 and I am playing in the 18 year old age division. I am a team player, and I work extremely hard at my position. I currently play volleyball in several leagues during my club and off season, including an adult co-ed and league. I am proud of my ability to be flexible and coachable. My goal is to be on a team that can push me learn and to be my best, no matter what position I play.
