Emma Pevarnik '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach. My name is Emma Pevarnik. I have been playing volleyball since I was 12 years old. I immediately fell in love with game after first stepping onto the court. I aspire to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I realize that playing collegiately is a once in a lifetime opportunity, but it is this understanding that makes me strive even harder.
I am a setter that has quick movement on the court and a strong jump float serve. I am a leader and have had the opportunity to lead my school and club teams on the court. I lead by example, while also encouraging and motivating my teammates. I am very coachable and have high expectations for myself. I strive to be one of the hardest working players.
Regarding my education, I study very hard and have maintained a high GPA from grade school to high school. I work as hard on my academics as I do on the court. I also volunteer at the local YMCA youth volleyball development programs.
I want to attend a college/university where I can continue to push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college/university that will provide me with an excellent education while allowing me to play volleyball at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, while making myself and my parents very proud.
