From the moment I began playing volleyball in 5th grade my passion for the game has motivated me to become the best player I could possibly become. I believe that my hustle in practice and in games along with the overall desire to improve not only for myself, but for my team keeps me willing to seize any opportunity to become a better player, teammate, and leader. Leadership is a quality of mine which I bring to the court. I lead my teammates to success by working hard for every ball, whether it be practice or a game, and bringing energy and positive communication to the court, which I believe is one of the most important traits in a setter.
Playing collegiate volleyball will provide a way for me to continue to participate in a sport that is a passion of mine, while increasing my abilities and allowing me to continue to strive for success. I am looking for a place where I can develop skills both on and off the court, so the right college for me would be somewhere that would be challenging academically in order to support my goals of pursuing a career in neuroscience.
Volleyball for me has become a place where I develop both as an athlete and as a person. I am willing to work as hard as possible to pursue my goal of playing volleyball in college and my ultimate goal of complete dedication to aiding in the success of whichever team I am a part of.
