My goals are to attend college to play volleyball and gain knowledge about sports leadership, management, health and fitness so when my volleyball career comes to an end as an athlete I can continue in the sport as a leader, coach, trainer or manager.
Academics is an important part of athletics because at the end of your athletic career you will need an academic background to continue as a leader in the sport.
I am already demonstrating leadership skills by actively giving back to the volleyball community by coaching younger athletes and volunteering time to work towards my Canadian Coaching Certifications.
