Ashleigh Holweger '18 Recruiting Profile

I love everything about volleyball.  Every time I walk into a gym, my goal is to be the hardest worker and to be the player who has the most fun. I find hard work, challenging competition, team-development, and winning to be fun.  I could not imagine my collegiate experience without volleyball.  I am 100% dedicated to the game and to reaching my potential as a player.  I am willing to work for the lofty goals I set for myself and for my team.  I also value leadership and it was an honor being named captain of our school's record-setting volleyball team this past season.  I lead by example and through my consistent communication with teammates on the court.  I want to attend a university/college that will provide great academic opportunities and prepare me for life after my four years there.  I am looking for a volleyball program that is serious about winning because I hate to lose.  I am also looking for a program/coaching staff that will challenge me to be improve--I am easy to coach and eager to learn--I know have room for great improvement.  I would be an asset to your university/college/vb program because of my pleasant attitude as well as my ability to lead others.
