I was introduced to the sport of volleyball at the age of 3 and was immediately hooked. Both of my parents played volleyball in high school and college, so I was lucky to inherit their love of the sport. As I got older and realized it was time to move up from rec, I was introduced to the world of club volleyball. Going into club I didn't even know what a free ball was, yet I managed to start my club career as libero. As I got older and found my true passion was setting, the thought of playing volleyball in college became my dream. From the time I started playing volleyball, I have pushed myself to get to the next level. I may not always be the tallest player on my team, but I have a strong work ethic that I refuse to let dwindle.
I have not only focused my attention on the court but also the classroom. In my junior year, I am taking 3 AP classes along with a heavy college preparatory course load and as of last year I have a cumulative 3.953 GPA. I have excellent time management skills and look forward to challenging myself academically.
Volleyball is the best thing I have in my life and I hope to continue to lead teams past my high school years at the collegiate level. I am committed to putting my blood, sweat and tears into this journey, and having my heart in it all the way. I look forward to the new experiences, memories, and triumphs that college volleyball has to offer.
