Jenna Bange '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jenna Bange. I am 17 years old and I'll be a Senior next year at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am 5'7" tall and 120 lbs. I have been playing volleyball since I was in the 3rd grade, and I have played varsity on my Division I high school team since I was a freshman. Not only have I been on varsity for three years, but I have been the only setter on my team, running a 5-1, and I have never sat out during a game. During my junior year high school season, my team voted me floor captain. Also during my club season this year, I was chosen as floor captain. I believe that I was chosen to be a captain because I work very hard and I try to be someone that my team can respect and trust. I work well with people and I feel that I am good at building strong relationships with all of my teammates. I want to play volleyball in college because I really love playing volleyball and I look forward to building strong relationships with the other girls. I am up for the challenge of working hard and making the extra effort because it is my dream to play volleyball in college. I would like to attend a college that is medium sized and about 3 or 4 hours from home, but I am willing to consider any school that seems like a good fit. My goal is to play volleyball in college, hopefully at some level as a freshman and to continue to make an impact on my team for the next 3 years while getting a great education at the right college.
