Kelsea Schloemer '14 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, I want to play for the college that suits me best. This college will allow me to continue to play the sport I love while obtaining a degree to fulfill a career for a lifetime. I want to have a coach that I will love playing for these 4 years where I can continually overachieve for match after match! I want to play for a team that includes girls that I will enjoy spending almost every day with on and off the court. Girls that can become my lifelong friends! I think I can bring energy and enthusiam to the court for this team and for this coach with the versatility I have in playing outside, setter, and opposite. This versatility on the court allowed me to lead my high school team in kills as an outside hitter as well as second on the team in assist as a setter. I have been team captain on my club volleyball teams leading the squads running a 5-1 and 6-2 and even playing some opposite in addition to outside. As a student, I want to major in the medical health field and leave the program with a great career. Playing 3 years on my varsity team in high school, I have shown that I am able to keep my grades up while being able to juggle volleyball in order to be the best student athlete that I can be for myself and my team!
