Allee Johnson '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Allee and I love playing volleyball. I started playing club volleyball when I was in fifth grade. That year (2005) I also attended the NCAA DI championship in San Antonio, Texas. I watched in awe and excitement as Washington defeated Nebraska in the championship. I knew then that I wanted to pursue volleyball at the college level. I am a 5'11" sophomore outside hitter from Centerville, OH. I have played club for 4 years with The San Antonio Hornets Volleyball Club. My team went to USAV Nationals in 2008 and placed 13th in the American division. I was the leader and captain on my teams the past 2 years. I lead by example with a solid work ethic, team work and my competitive nature. In 2009, I played on the Lonestar High Performance Regional Team. In addition, I also played varsity volleyball as a freshman and sophomore at Centerville High School and was one of the starting outsides. We took 2nd in our GWOC conference. In college, I would like to major in medical basic sciences and would eventually like to be a physician or a physical therapist. I am interested in colleges that have high academic standards and location is not that important to me. My dad is in the military and we have lived in many different parts of the country. I am open to exploring different schools across the country. I am independant (for my age), assertive and outgoing. I am eager to start the recruiting process and receive more information for my academic and athletic future.
