Ashley Kozer '17 Recruiting Profile

Thank you so much for your interest! I have been playing volleyball since the 2nd grade and have always played with athletes older than me because I followed my older sister to all of her practices and tournaments. When I was in the seventh grade, I played on a freshman regional club team. My eighth grade year I played on a sophomore American club team and played 18U beach doubles with my sister. Last year I am played up on a 17 National Team for Ohio Xtreme. I am also a key starter for my high school team which I led to Regional Finals. This past school season I started varsity and received first team honorable mention for my league. This year I am playing at Academy Volleyball Cleveland on a 17 National team. I start and set a 6-2 and hit right side.  I have always been a fierce competitor; losing is not an option. I push myself and my teammates to excellence and love a challenge. I am a natural born leader and although I am the youngest player on my club team, the girls look to me for motivation and leadership. I would love to bring my athletic assests to your program and help secure a Confrence and/or National Championship!
