Kathleen O'Brien '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always been passionate about the sport ever since I was 4 years old watching the high school volleyball games wondering how it would feel stepping out on the court and working as a team. And from the first time I had actually play the game and feel of the ball hitting my arm and hearing the smack of the ball coming off of my hand was incredible and from then on I knew this was the sport for me. But now that I have experienced walking out on to the court with my friends and my teammates, now I know how they felt when I would watch the high school games, the excitement, and most of all working together knowing how each other hits and just knowing how we all play, to me that's amazing and I don't want that feeling to ever stop even when I get in to college.

Playing for a college would just being the happiest thing that would ever happen in my life. I would be so honored to play for any college just as long as I could play and be on the court with the team. Now that I am in high school all the time wanting to play for them was just a dream but now its real life and its amazing. I think that I am different than other recruits is that I wont ever give up no matter the score that's just not me and when we are losing I will fight to beat them and get back on top also I would never stop cheering on my team.
