I am a 5'4" player that would love to be on a college volleyball team as a libero, DS, or a 2nd setter. I have been very athletic my whole life, continuously in a sport, and have been playing volleyball for almost 2 years and I love it! I was a libero the first year in JO and a setter this year. I realized volleyball was my passion after making the middle school team and not getting to play at all - not because I was horrible, but for other circumstances beyond my control. This situation made me determined to become a great volleyball player, so I joined a JO team. Throughout my first season I grew quickly as a player and took the libero spot. I went from knowing very little to being the best passer on the team. I played starting libero as a Freshman on my Varsity team this year and just won the Coaches' Award. I am driven, always striving to better myself, I am a very hard worker, am focused and compelled to reach my goals. I am kind and someone my teammates can always trust to have their backs. Academically, I have straight A's and a 4.0 GPA so far in high school and I plan to continue down that path. I am ahead in math by 2 years and this coming year I am taking more challenging classes to get even farther ahead. I am currently on track to take college level courses during high school. Right now I am looking at going to college for architecture or criminal justice and am exploring opportunities to further influence my decision this summer. I would like a university with an outstanding academic reputation. I am interested in a medium-larger size school and am flexible as to the setting, whether urban or rural. I am open to universities from the Midwest to the East. I would be a great addition to any college volleyball team and look forward to making an impact for you.
