I have been participating in sports since I can remember. Volleyball is my favorite and most competitive sport even though I play basketball and softball as well. I play on a club volleyball team during the off season and enjoy it just as much as my school team. Being a student athlete makes your school experience one hundred times better, and has taught me a lot about sportsmanship and the way of the game. When you have to balance out sports and school it can be hard but you have to be committed to both. School is a priority. I am hard working and determined to do the best I can on and off the court. I am a junior this year and have just started my fourth club season. I believe that my court vision and situational awareness during game play is what sets me apart from other recruits. I am a team player and am friends with all of my teammates. This club season I will work to improve my overall skills as well as setting. I hope to gain a higher understanding of the game and help push my club team and my school team further this year. One of my many goals is to make it to states next year for my senior year, the last time my team went to states was in 2010 but I believe we can make it there again this coming year. I want to be able to play in college and I know that if I push myself and strive to do my best I will get there.
