Education, Education,Education. My parents have always stressed to me and my sisters that education is the most important thing after family. I am looking for a school that will give me that plus allow me to continue to play the sport i love, volleyball. I work as hard in the classroom as i do on the court. Because of that, i have been able to stay on the high honor roll from 6th grade through the present grading period. I have also excelled in volleyball, going to nationals the past two years (once as a setter and last year as libero). I have been on varsity since 9th grade and was the starting Libero in tenth grade that went on to win sectionals as well as being named to the All-section, All-league and All-county teams.
Volleyball for me and my family is part of life. My two older sisters (Kristina and Jessica), play together in college at SUNY Oneonta. My dad still plays and coaches at the Downstate Volleyball club and my parents even met playing pick up volleyball at college. Ive played many sports since i was young but Volleyball has always been my favorite and i plan to play even after college.
Whichever school i choose to attend will get the best i have to give, in the classroom and on the court. Lindsay
