I love playing volleyball. Ever since I could walk I have always had an interest in the sport. I have been on my high school's varsity team since I was a freshman. Every year my goal has been simple; to improve and be the best player and teammate I can be, whether it be the accuracy of my set, the consistency of my serve, or just encouraging the other players. This past summer I participated in the high preformance international volleyball championship in Des Moines, Iowa. This was an amazing experience to be a part of because the level of play was so high, and I would like to continue learning and playing at such a high level. My all time goal is to get scouted and be recruited to a division one team. Grades are very important to me as I am ranked 7th in my class. In this respect college is not only a part of my volleyball dream, but also a major part of my life aspirations. I would like to attend a university that has a good science program, and eventually achieve a Ph.D. in nuclear science. I wish to pursue a career in further researching nuclear fusion, a new and possibly promising route to future energies.
