The rush from each game is something that I do not want to stop feeling after high school. That is why I wish to play at a collegiate level. I am very happy that I can play almost every position, and that I have had the honor to play Libero last year. This is my senior year which means my high school volleyball career is coming to an end. This year is also the year where I was chosen by my teammates to be a team captain. I have been mentioned in the Poughkeepsie Journal for volleyball numerous times and I received an honorable mention there as well. My coaches have awarded me with school awards for either MVP or a Dragon award over the past 4 years. I may not play on a club team, but I work very hard pick up skills quickly. For the past 3 years, I have been on the varsity team. Seniors have come and gone. This year, I am one of the three seniors that withhold that "senior leadership" role. My GPA in school is about a 3.3 and my SAT score is a 880 which I will be retaking on October 1st. My schedule this year includes three college classes which are college English, college statistics, and college public speaking. My goals in college wherever I may play next fall is to be successful. Successful with my education, successful with my team, and successful overall in playing the sport that I love to play.
