Playing volleyball is a great way for me to express my personality, and for as long as I can remember I have had a volleyball in my hands.  Whether is was playing in the front yard, or tagging along with my mom to her club tournaments and warming up with her team.  When I reached age 10 I started my volleyball career at Central Jersey Volleyball Academy (CJVA).  I started in their youth development programs and two years later I started playing on a club team.  I have 5 years of club experience as a setter with 4 of those years being at the National level.  In addition to indoor, I have also played two years of beach volleyball and finished all tournaments in the top 10. 

I enjoy being on a volleyball team because it gives me the opportunity to be a part of something bigger then myself.  I am part of a team that depends on me just as much as I depend on them.  I am an easily motivated individual with a drive to win and will stop at nothing to achieve my goals and the goals of my team.  I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and always willing to learn.

I take academics just as seriously as I do volleyball.  I see myself attending a school in which I can not only further my volleyball career but I can further my academic education and grow as a person.  I am currently carrying a 3.0 GPA and am working hard everyday to keep my grades up.  It is important to me to find a school that shares the same values in academics as I do, and I would love a school with a welcoming environment that has the same passion and love for the sport of volleyball that I have.

I have found that volleyball is a great way to meet people and make new friends which is also a big part of my life.  I love meeting new people and am always outgoing when it comes to making new friends.  Volleyball means the world to me and each one of my teammates, both past and present have become my second family.
