I am a dynamic outside hitter from Omaha, NE. I will be graduating from Gretna High School in 2021 and am dedicated to further developing as a volleyball player after my high school career ends.
I have been playing volleyball for as long as I can remember. While I’ve played other sports, volleyball has always been the sport that I am most passionate about. Playing college volleyball would be an invaluable experience; I could work with an incredible coaching staff, learn from other accomplished athletes, and grow my love for the game even more. Being a part of a college team may lead to many long-lasting friendships and would most certainly result in overall personal growth.
On the court, I play volleyball with determination and energy. My role as team captain and 6-rotation player on my club team has challenged me to be both a leader and a motivator. This experience has helped me to develop strong court awareness and has given me the opportunity to become a versatile player. Both on and off the court, I always strive to show my teammates and coaches hard work, a never-give-up attitude, respect, and cooperation.
My plan is to take college prep classes throughout high school and to maintain a high GPA. When I am not studying or playing volleyball, I volunteer at my church, assist each year with the Special Olympics, and spend time helping special needs students at my school.
I believe I can be an asset to a collegiate volleyball team, and I am motivated to pursue a higher education, degree, and ultimately, a career. My aspiration is to be the best student-athlete I can be and also a great role model for others.
