I chose to play volleyball because it is a very competitive sport and it challenges your mind as well as your body. When I play volleyball I get the same feeling as if your walking through the front door into your home. I always look forward to volleyball even if it's just a workout practice and I can only have a ball for a couple minutes. Volleyball is a part of my life and I don't plan to ever stop playing it.
I've done a couple summer volleyball camps with my friends in elemtary school, but the first time that I actually played was when I tried it out in 7th grade. In the beginning, I never expected volleyball to become so important to me and I'm so glad that it had. Also in 7th grade, my friend told me about Northland Volleyball Club and about a month later I tried out for my first club season. I think that during that tryout was the day that I relized how much I loved the sport. Ever since that moment I have been playing above my grade level in high school and I've been on great club teams.
I plan on going to a school with a great dentistry program to help me achieve my dream of becoming an Orthodontist and playing volleyball through college. I am a great person for your team because I am so deticated towards volleyball as well as my academics, I'm a hard worker and I always want to get better at volleyball.
