My name is Lauren King and I am a 2020 Middle Blocker and Right Side hitter for Legacy Volleyball Club 15 Elite in Southeast Michigan.
Although currently playing in my first year of high school volleyball, I have 3 years of club experience under my belt and have played as a middle blocker and right side hitter. I really enjoy the challenge of hitting from right side, but most of all I really like to shut down big hitters with my even bigger blocks. I am also very competitive and disciplined in the classroom, currently carrying a 4.0 GPA.
In the future, my goal is to play at the collegiate level and to continue to play after college professionally. My ultimate dream is to one day play in the Olympic Games and represent Team USA.
On the court, I am very disciplined and sound and always open to constructive criticism to make my game go to the next level. I as a player thrive on getting advice from coaches and teammates to make me a better asset when it is game time.
Volleyball is more than just a sport or extracurricular to me. Volleyball is where I've had some of the best times of my life. Every time the whistle blows, it's another opportunity to show why volleyball truly has a special place in my heart.
