Sophia Oakes Fres...Personal Statement
I just finished my first season as a High School player and ended with an All Conference Honorable Mention and a nomination for All Region. I finished my season ranked #11 in Digs out of 500 ranked for all Class A Schools in Michigan with 554 total digs. I was the only Freshman Varsity Player to make it into the top 50 diggers. My team also helped me get to 59 kills for the season. That stat ranked me tied for 3rd in the Michigan among Class A Libero attackers.
I am a hard working high school freshman who takes pride in making sure I am performing to the best of my ablities in school and supporting my team in whatever sport I play. When I begin college my goal will be to complete my bachelors degree with honors. I will ultimately be chasing a graduate degee in marine biology and would like to be a part of your graduate coaching staff if that were an option.
I am self disciplined and always put in more than is required to help my team achieve their goals.
