Personal Statement

I LOVE volleyball.  Everything about it.  I love learning the game, understanding the game, and playing the game. I am a leader both on and off the court and was named captain of the Varsity team for the second year as a Senior. I work hard in school, practice and games, always giving everything I have.  I leave it all on the court. I am very coachable as I want the feedback to help me get stronger in the game. I learn quickly and am able to implement changes from feedback immediately.  I am flexible and have been asked to play every position as my coaches believe in my athletic ability and want me on the court.  I am playing OH/OPP all the way around this year and I'm excited for the high school season.  I want to play volleyball in college on a competitive level and would like to be a contributor on a title winning team. I love history, science, genetics and animals so I hope to be able to combine those interests into my college major and career. At this point I am still looking at career options but I am currently very interested in biochemistry or a career as a geneticist. If you are looking for a strong leader with strong ALL AROUND volleyball skills, athletics, academics and personal standards, please consider me for your team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
