Riley Kugler '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard-working and fun-loving person who is looking to plan ahead for my future.  I am all business on the court but a jokester off. I am hysterical (at least that is what everyone tells me!) I study very hard so that I am academically successful and I would like it i I can continue to play volleyball in college. 

I am a starting outside hitter and blocker for both high school and club ball, but I am also a strong defensive player and consistent server. I plan on using my back row defensive skills in college because I will not make the height requirements to play front row in college. I know I am not a tall player, but what I lack in height I make up for in spirit, athletic ability and dedicated drive. This white girl got hops!!

I truly believe that, if a coach can look past my shortness, they will see that I have what it takes to be a fantastic addition to their team.  I am a team player and, as a Christian, I display the utmost respect for others, myself and the game.  I will keep a positive attitude and will represent myself and my team with dignity.
