2016 Highlights Personal Statement
I fell in love with volleyball at the age of 9. Although, to be fair, I'm not sure if I loved the sport at first or just the crazy socks they let me wear. As I grow older, I find that my passion for the sport grows as well. I love playing with my teammates. I love the practices. I love setting with the match on the line. Most of all, I love learning the game.
One of my goals is to earn a full scholarship for academics and/or athletics to a mid to large size university with a great volleyball program. I also dream of setting for Team USA. I know these are big goals that can't be achieved without sacrifice and hard work. Every day, I will work for them in the classroom and on the court.
