Personal Statement

I have been playing volleyball since I was in 2nd grade, and started club in 5th grade. One thing that sets me apart as a volleyball player is my positive attitude. No matter if I am playing all around or sitting on the bench, I am cheering on my teammates. In addition, I always push myself to get stronger mentally and physically, listening to my coaches and working hard to be a better player. Every time I step onto the court, I push myself to improve and work my hardest. Although I have played many sports, volleyball is my passion. I love playing both indoor and beach volleyball and want to continue playing volleyball in college. My goal academically is to be a teacher for either elementary students or students with disabilities. I love working with kids and think this career path would be a great fit with my personality.
