With two older sisters that golf, in a family of many golfers, I had decided that I was going to play a sport that was all my own. Once I stepped on to the volleyball court, I have never looked back. Watching my sisters compete at the College Level, I too, knew that was what I truly wanted to do. I love the family atmosphere of a team. I believe in being a part of that excitement. Being a captain on a team has been so rewarding. You get to make things happen. You get to help lift others up when they need it, being the little sister at home that was always done for me, so getting to give that back has been amazing. Knowing that the six people on that court can truly work as one was an incredible feeling. Getting an opportunity to further my education and play the sport I love is so important to me. I cannot wait to see what my amazing future holds.
