Playing varsity volleyball as a sophomore at my high school really was a catalyst for me to consider playing at the college level. I suffered from an ankle injury right before our first game which left me injured for about six months. Once I was completely healed it motivated me to work extremely hard for the rest of the club season that year. Junior year I played right side on varsity and my confidence at first was something I struggled with. It took me a while to realize that I had the potential to play at the college level and gain the confidence needed to start looking. Academics are very important to me, so I am looking for a school where I can get a great athletic experience as well as providing a great education. I have confidence I can bring a lot of enthusiasm as well as work my hardest for a team looking to recruit me.
